Prenatal Dance and Dance with Baby

6-12 weeks Postpartum

Discover the Joy of Connection as well as the many overall Benefits for your Wellbeing during Pregnancy and Postpartum through Dance, Movement, Touch & Rhythm in this 3 week class series.

This series is open to pregnant moms as well as moms in the postpartum period, with baby 6-12 weeks*

Experience the joyful connection to self and your baby through prenatal dance and baby in arms/babywearing!

  • Come as you are each week to enJOY a fun, soulful, low-impact dance class.
  • You will learn gentle movement and dance combinations appropriate for pregnancy and babywearing/holding baby close in the early postpartum period
  • Gain guidance in your current season (prenatal or babywearing journey)
  • Feel the support and community from the groupIn addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes up to 2 makeup classes (if availability allows in next session), a handout on benefits of prenatal dance and movement, babywearing checkpoints for comfortable and safe wearing, a spotify playlist of music used for dances and a keepsake video on some of the dances we have learned in the session!

NO dance experience necessary, come as you are

*Staying active during pregnancy, with low impact activities and engaging in gentle movement from 6 weeks postpartum is known to be beneficial and encouraged, however please check in with yourself and your health care provider to ensure this is a good fit during your current season of pregnancy/postpartum.

Please wear closed toe sneakers or dance barefoot

Please bring:

  1. your water bottle
  2. your own carrier/wrap if you will be babywearing.We will be dancing with baby in the wrap/carrier facing heart to heart. *I will have a couple on hand to use if necessary.
