Personally, I love seeing the moms and their babies bond through this practice.  The babies that have visited my yoga classes over the years have marveled at their singing, silly, Om’ing mamas.  Many times Mom will hold her baby in poses giving them both a new experience on the mat.  We can easily extend this practice into toddlerhood, childhood and beyond.  Yoga studios for children are popping up all over the place, so I encourage you to try them out (especially if you have extra time for activities over the summer!).  Yoga breathing is a great way to cool the body, calm the little ones and soothe any bumps in the road along the way.
